About Ramon Trotman Studio

I photograph business owners, company leaders, professionals, and the events that bring their work and communities together.

Most clients do not arrive knowing how to pose, and they do not need to. I guide the session from start to finish - posture, hands, gaze, framing, and light - while keeping the room relaxed enough for a natural expression to come through.

The goal is straightforward: photographs that feel current, credible, and recognizably yours.

Background

My approach comes from editorial portraiture, where every choice has a reason. Over time, I learned that a chair can give the body somewhere to settle and make direction easier to understand.

That is why I often begin with a seated portrait. It slows the session down, lets me make small adjustments, and gives you time to feel comfortable before we build from there.

How I Work

Sessions are fully guided, but they are not rigid. I will show you where to place your hands, adjust posture and light, and explain what I am looking for as we work.

You bring your experience and personality. I bring preparation, a clear eye, and the direction needed to make the portrait feel natural.

I also believe photographs are made to be lived with. When an image matters, a finished print gives it a place in the everyday life around it.
