Portraits for a Meaningful Change in Your Life
You may want a portrait because the photographs you have no longer feel like you. A change in your life or work can make that difference noticeable before you know how to describe it.
Portraits in Transition is a guided session built around that experience. We begin with what has changed, what you want to recognize in the photographs, and what you are comfortable sharing. You can arrive with questions and an unfinished story.

A Session Built Around Where You Are Now
The starting point is your experience of change. It may involve a shift in your personal identity, a return to being photographed after time away, or a professional change that also affects how you see yourself.
We discuss what feels different and what you want the portrait to acknowledge. You choose how much of that context to share. It gives me a starting point for decisions about expression, posture, light, and the pace of the session.
When a portrait feels unfamiliar
A photograph can be carefully made and still feel unfamiliar to the person in it. During the session, I pay attention to your response as well as what I see through the camera.
If a pose feels forced, we change it. If an expression feels unfamiliar, we try another approach. Your response helps guide what we make next. You choose how much of the story behind the session you want to share.

Choosing the Right Service
Executive Headshots is the starting point for LinkedIn, company biographies, leadership announcements, speaker profiles, and other professional portrait requirements. That remains true when a promotion or career move prompts the booking.
Choose Portraits in Transition when the personal meaning of the change is the main reason for the session. Tell me what you want from the photographs and I will help you choose the appropriate service.
We begin with what you want the photographs to acknowledge and what you are comfortable sharing. We will agree the session scope, finished photographs, selection process, and delivery details before booking.

Tell Me What Is Changing
Share what brought you to this session and what you would like the photographs to acknowledge. A few sentences are enough to begin. I will review your inquiry and discuss whether Portraits in Transition is the right fit.
